Last week, Mark Zuckerberg revealed Facebook Home, a ‘group of apps’ that can only be best described as an operating system. Facebook Home is a new concept that focuses the mobile experience on you, your friends and your family. Not around apps, Zuck says. It’s pretty vague, but a video released showed a few new features such as ‘double tap to like’ and a lock-screen screen-saver that is fed your friends’ latest updates.
There has been a great deal of speculation and criticism about the direction of Facebook in the mobile space, but has this done enough to silence those critics and should Google be worried?
