Well no, not introducing Google Shoes as they’ll never become anything more than a prototype. But that prototype does exist and made a brief yet noisy appearance at the annual South by Southwest conference in Austin Texas last weekend.
The shoes were made in collaboration with Adidas and design agency 72andsunny, and were clearly a fun marketing stunt rather than a serious piece of innovation. At least I hope so.
