Our relationship with Beyond Storage began back in June 2011, since which time, we have worked with them to evolve their marketing strategy as their business has grown.

Beyond is a family-run self-storage company with sites across England & Wales. Whilst their premium self-storage facilities and favourable pricing are great, their real selling point is their customer service.

the challenge

With the digital age just beginning, Beyond Storage were yet to fully invest in their digital marketing. With almost no organic search presence, limited social activity and a lack of email marketing campaigns, we were tasked with building a robust digital strategy from the ground up.

the solution

Watertight SEO strategy: In addition to on-page optimisation and the development of rich landing pages, we have developed an efficient link solicitation strategy with the use of relevant influencer and ambassador relationships. The links have had an immediate impact from an SEO perspective, whilst also driving significant brand awareness and word-of-mouth referral activity throughout the local area.

Targeted paid advertising: We also continue to manage direct response advertising across both Google PPC and Facebook lead generation. With a clear sense of customer lifetime value based on historical data, we’re able to scale both these channels in a profitable manner, whenever additional demand is required.

Innovative social media strategy: When it comes to social media marketing for Beyond Storage, we like to think outside of the box (or in this case, storage container). Our aim is not just to fill the storage sites, but to build a loyal customer base and bring the vision of a Beyond family to life.

Thanks to their constant stream of enquiries, Beyond Storage has now expanded with a total of 7 sites – most of which are full with waiting lists! 

We’ve helped Beyond Storage to continue their customer focus across their digital channels and build a strong family brand. With an engaged email list, respectable Facebook and Instagram followings and a loyal blog audience, we have been able to keep their current customers engaged and bring a steady flow of new enquiries to each site.

Since working with Beyond, we’ve welcomed over 240,000 new visitors to their site and seen almost 28,000 conversions – that’s a conversion rate of over 11%!
