When Journey introduced us to Wilson Partners, they already had a fantastic brand and a great relationship with their audience. Where there was an opportunity for improvement was from a digital perspective, both in terms of their website’s relationship with the search engines and their paid advertising strategy.

The Solution

A great deal of our time has focused on search engine optimisation. By optimising the existing pages whilst also developing a significant number of new landing pages, we have greatly expanded the range of terms for which the site can be found.

Alongside this organic campaign, we have also managed a paid strategy via Google PPC and LinkedIn lead generation. The PPC campaign has worked within a fixed monthly budget whilst trying to bring the cost per acquisition down to the lowest possible figure for each key service line. Meanwhile, the LinkedIn ad strategy has been used to generate Marketing Qualified Leads for areas of strategic importance, such as R&D claims.

 

The Outcome

Since our involvement began:

  • Organic google traffic has more than doubled
  • Organic traffic to key landing pages has more than quadrupled
  • Organic rankings for all key local terms have risen to the top of the search listings, including top 3 results for “Accountants London”
  • Despite its focus on the Thames Valley, the site has also consistently ranked well for a number of national terms, such as number 2 for “Outsourced financial services”
  • Cost Per Acquisition for Google PPC has now reduced to under £30 for priority service lines, allowing significant scope for scaling when required
